Workshop on Research Methodology and Data Analysis at Akkialur

On 13/05/2024, the Institute, in association with the Department of Economics, GFGC, Akkialur, Haveri, organised a one-day workshop on "Research Methodology and Data Analysis." The workshop was organised by the Department of Economics, and the HOD of the Department, Mr. Basavanna, was also the coordinator of the workshop. The principal of the college, Dr. V. M. Kummur, presided over the workshop. The members of the Institute, including Secretary Ramappa Savadatti along with other members, Dr. Balakrishna Bendre, were the resource persons of the workshop. Speaking on the occasion, Ramappa Savadatti introduced the Institute to the students and other staff members and gave them information regarding the objectives and mission of the Institute. Later, Dr. Balakrishna Bendre spoke about the importance of research and explained the need and importance of conducting research mainly by students. Maltesh Aralikatti explained the ways in which social science research is to be approached and the ways in which research should be conducted and explained the steps of conducting research and writing of the research report.
