Special Lecture

An April 27, 2024 special lecture was organized at P. C. Jabin Science College, Hubballi, with the objective of enhancing students’ understanding of field-based research and data analysis techniques. On this occasion, Dr. S. V. Hanagodimath, President of Institute for Inclusive Growth and Development (IIGD), Dharwad, served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative lecture on the importance of field surveys, methods of data collection, data interpretation, and analytical techniques used in research studies. His lecture provided valuable insights into practical research methodologies and statistical analysis, which greatly benefited the students.

The programme was presided over by Dr. L. D. Horakeri, Principal of the institution. Dr. C. M. Math, Head of the Department of Statistics, was present during the programme along with Ramappa Savadatti, Secretary of IIGD, and IIGD members Mr. Malatesh Aralikatti and Mr. Shanmukh Hiremath. Students actively participated in the session and interacted with the resource person. The programme was conducted successfully and proved highly useful in improving students’ knowledge of field survey techniques, research practices, and data analysis methods.
